What we build on Tutor LMS
Tutor LMS covers a lot in its free and Pro versions. Our job is choosing the right pieces, configuring them properly and writing code where the settings run out.
Native eCommerce setup
We switch the Monetization engine to Native, create the cart and checkout pages, and connect gateways such as Stripe, PayPal, Paddle, Razorpay, Mollie, Paystack or Authorize.net. Coupons, country tax rates, guest checkout and the Buy Now button are set to match your pricing.
WooCommerce and membership engines
Some sites are better off selling through WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads, Paid Memberships Pro or Restrict Content Pro. We set up the engine that fits and move existing orders and access rules when you switch.
Frontend course builder changes
Instructors build courses from the frontend dashboard, so that is where friction shows up. We register custom fields in the course builder, adjust the instructor dashboard and limit what each role can edit.
Instructor marketplaces
Using the Multi Instructors add-on with Tutor's revenue sharing and withdrawal settings, we build marketplaces where instructors apply, publish, earn their commission and request payouts.
Pro add-on configuration
We configure Content Drip, Prerequisites, Assignments, Gradebook, the Certificate builder, Content Bank, H5P and Quiz Export/Import so lessons open in the order you intended and grades add up correctly.
Live classes, calendars and alerts
Zoom and Google Meet add-ons for scheduled lessons, the Calendar for deadlines, and the Email and Notifications add-ons for triggered messages. Schools already on Google Classroom can share its posts inside Tutor LMS too.
Themes, page builders and templates
We build on Pathwise, WellThrive or your own theme, design with Droip, Elementor, Divi or Oxygen, and override Tutor templates from a tutor folder in your child theme so plugin updates don't undo the work.
Speed and security hardening
We profile slow dashboards and course pages, tune caching for logged-in students, clean the database and turn on Tutor LMS security options such as two-factor authentication, email verification and active session management.

Why teams bring their Tutor LMS work to us
Practitioners, not resellers
Our team has spent 8+ years inside WordPress LMS plugins and later built its own learning platform, so we plan for the site you'll run in two years as well as launch day.
A quote before any code
The consultation is free and the quote is written down. You know the price and timeline before we start.
One accountable manager
A dedicated project manager owns your timeline, and you can reach the developer directly when a detail needs discussing.
Code that outlives updates
Custom features live in their own plugin or child theme and come with source ownership. We never patch Tutor LMS core.
NDA before access
Instructor contracts, revenue figures and student records stay covered by a signed NDA.
Delivery you can hold us to
Delivery dates and your satisfaction are both guaranteed. If the finished work falls short of the agreed scope, our zero billing guarantee applies and you get your money back.

Go live and aftercare
We launch, monitor early orders and stay on for maintenance if you want us to.
Work we are asked to do
Multi-instructor marketplace
An education startup wants outside instructors to publish and sell courses. We configure applications, commission splits and payouts, and tighten what instructors can change in the frontend builder.
Online school with live lessons
A tutoring center runs scheduled classes and graded homework. We set up Zoom lessons, Assignments and the Gradebook with a custom grading scale.
Multilingual academy
A training provider sells the same courses in several languages. We translate course, checkout and email content with WPML or Weglot and keep regional prices correct.
Leaving LearnDash for Tutor LMS
A course business wants a frontend builder for its instructors. We run the Tutor LMS Migration Tool on staging, fix what doesn't map cleanly and rebuild pricing in Native eCommerce.
Tools and integrations
Getting more out of Tutor LMS
Tutor LMS is popular because it puts course creation in front of instructors instead of inside the WordPress admin. The frontend course builder, its quiz builder and the instructor dashboard make it a natural fit for academies and marketplaces with many contributors. Since version 3.0 it also ships a native checkout, so plenty of sites can sell without WooCommerce at all.
That flexibility cuts both ways. With several monetization engines, a long list of Pro add-ons and open instructor access, small configuration choices have big effects on revenue and on the student experience.
Problems we fix on Tutor LMS sites
- Orders paid at the gateway but students never enrolled, often after a change of eCommerce engine.
- Instructors able to see or edit courses that aren't theirs.
- Commission and withdrawal settings that don't match the instructor agreement.
- Content Drip and Prerequisites working against each other, so lessons stay locked.
- Gradebook totals that leave out assignments or quizzes.
- Template edits made inside the plugin folder and lost on the next update.
- Student dashboards that take several seconds to load under real traffic.
Choosing a monetization engine
Tutor LMS can sell through Native eCommerce, WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads, Paid Memberships Pro or Restrict Content Pro. The right choice depends on what else you sell, which payment gateway your region needs and if you want subscriptions, bundles or memberships. We recommend one, explain the trade-offs and handle the setup, tax rules and coupons included.
How we customize Tutor LMS
We keep customizations out of the plugin. Layout changes go into template overrides in a child theme. Logic changes use Tutor's action and filter hooks. Extra course data goes into custom fields registered for the course builder, and outside systems talk to the site through the Tutor LMS REST API. Tutor also documents how to build a custom payment gateway, which we use when a client needs a regional processor that isn't supported out of the box.
Themes and design
We work with Tutor's own Pathwise and WellThrive themes, with Droip, Elementor, Divi and Oxygen, and with custom block themes. Course cards, single course pages, cart, checkout and the student dashboard are all designed and tested on phone screens as well as desktop.
Migrations into Tutor LMS
Moving from LearnDash or LearnPress starts with the official migration tool, which moves most course content and student data. We take care of what it leaves behind: unusual quiz types, orders, URL redirects and design. Moves from Teachable, Thinkific or Moodle are scripted from their exports and checked course by course before launch.
If you outgrow WordPress
Some organizations eventually need proctored exams, SSO with automatic provisioning or formal compliance records. For them, LMS Advisor, our own platform, can import Tutor LMS courses. For most academies and marketplaces, a well-configured Tutor LMS site does the job, and we'll keep it running well.
