A quote built around how you deploy
A small internal academy and a certification body running proctored exams need very different things, so we don’t publish a price list. Here is what goes into the number.
What drives your quote
Four things move the number. We ask about all of them on the first call, so you get one written quote instead of a starting price that grows.
1. Deployment
In our cloud, hosting, updates and backups are part of the service. Self-hosted, you provide the server (a VPS or capable shared hosting running PHP 8.1 or later and MySQL) and your team applies updates with the in-app migration and backup tools. Self-hosted installs are activated with a license key that checks in with our license server once a day.
2. Audience size
How many employees, customers, partners and exam candidates will use the platform over a year. Give us learner and candidate numbers separately, because the two groups use the platform in very different ways.
3. Modules
Proctored exams, the AI tools, SAML SSO with SCIM provisioning and multi-organization setups are the capabilities that most often change a quote. If you don’t need one of them, say so.
4. Services
Migration from Moodle, LearnDash or a SCORM-based platform, SSO configuration, admin training and help building your first courses are scoped according to how much you want us to take on.

What a quote covers
- The platform with the modules you choose.
- Hosting, updates and backups, if you choose the cloud.
- A self-hosted license, if you run it yourself.
- Any services we agree on, each as its own line.
What sits outside it
Some costs belong to other providers. Better to budget for them now than find them later.
- AI usage. Billed by Anthropic or OpenAI to whoever owns the API key.
- Payments. Selling runs through WooCommerce, so store hosting and gateway fees are yours.
- Messaging. SMS or WhatsApp sign-in codes use your own provider account, and email uses your SMTP service.
- Meetings and code execution. Zoom accounts for live sessions, and a Judge0 or Piston plan if you use hosted code execution for coding questions.
- Content. There is no bundled course library. Off-the-shelf courses from other vendors run as SCORM, xAPI or cmi5 packages.
