Training Providers

An LMS for training companies that serve many clients at once

Give every corporate client their own space and report, sell open courses and exams through WooCommerce, and run proctored certification exams that employers can verify.

At a glance

  • An organization per client
  • A portal for the client’s manager
  • Client branding
  • WooCommerce plugin and token SSO
  • Proctored certification exams

A training company’s week looks nothing like a single employer’s. On Monday you enroll forty staff from a logistics client into a health and safety program. On Tuesday a public course sells through your website. By Thursday a client’s HR manager wants a completion report for their board, and on Friday you are invigilating an exam you would rather run online. Most platforms are built for one employer training its own people, so providers end up juggling spreadsheets and a separate tool for each job.

LMS Advisor gives each client an organization with its own manager, seat limit, branding and report. Open courses and exams sell through your WooCommerce store, buyers land in the LMS through token SSO, and exams run with native proctoring.

The challenge

Why training companies outgrow their tools

Every client wants their own view

Client A must never see Client B’s learners. Each wants their own report, sometimes their own logo, and a contact who can add staff without emailing you a list.

Selling online without building a shop

Public courses and exam seats need checkout, tax handling and receipts. Building that into an LMS is a project you do not want.

Exams that employers trust

If your certificate carries weight, candidates have a reason to cheat. Room invigilation is expensive, and an unsupervised online quiz undermines the credential you sell.

Classroom days and online work in one record

Blended programs mix classroom days, webinars and online modules, and the paper sign-in sheet from the day rarely reaches the learner’s record.

How LMS Advisor helps

One platform, many clients

Each client gets an organization with its own manager portal, seat limit and branding. Sales stay in WooCommerce, where they belong. Exams, certificates, attendance and reports live in the LMS.

An organization per client

Separate members, departments, assigned courses with due dates, a seat limit and an exportable report for each client.

A portal for the client’s manager

The client’s HR or training contact adds and imports their own learners and checks progress, with only the permissions you grant.

Client branding

Each organization can carry its own logo, colors, font and login page text, so a client’s staff see their company next to your training.

WooCommerce plugin and token SSO

Sync courses, learning paths and exams to one or more WooCommerce stores. After checkout, buyers are enrolled and signed into the LMS in one click.

Proctored certification exams

Candidates sit exams through their own portal with ID photo capture, webcam snapshots, AI face checks and lockdown, and certificates verify publicly.

Attendance with QR check-in

Open an attendance session for a classroom day and delegates check in by scanning a QR code, right next to their online progress.

In depth

Setting up clients, sales and exams

Modeling your clients

Create an organization for each corporate client. Set a seat limit that matches the contract, upload their logo and colors, and give their login page a heading and a short welcome. Make their HR or L&D contact the organization manager and decide what they can do in the manager portal: add learners, import a list, remove leavers, switch courses on or off. Assigning a course to the organization enrolls every member, with an optional due date and a mandatory flag. The organization report exports for the client’s quarterly review.

Selling open courses through WooCommerce

We have no native checkout, and that is deliberate. Install our WooCommerce plugin on your store, connect it in LMS Advisor, and choose which courses, learning paths and exams sync to which store. Run a second store for a partner body and it gets its own scope. Payment gateways, tax, invoices and any discounting stay in WooCommerce. After purchase the buyer is enrolled, and a Start Learning link signs them into the LMS with a single-use token. An exam can be marked as requiring purchase, so nobody takes it without an order.

Running exams that hold up

Use the Exams module rather than a course quiz for anything that leads to a credential. Candidates are invited by email and get in with a one-time code, with no course enrollment needed. Set an availability window, time limit, attempt limit and pass mark, draw questions from pools, and switch on the proctoring you need. Candidate broadcasts message everyone in a session, and in-exam issue reporting lets a candidate whose camera fails tell you at the time. The evidence trail supports appeals.

Blended programs

For a classroom day, create an attendance session and put the QR code on the projector. Live online sessions run through Zoom or Google Meet. A course-end form collects your evaluation questionnaire and exports to CSV. If a client runs Moodle, Canvas or another LTI 1.3 platform, their system can launch your course and receive the grade back.

Moving your existing catalog

Import Moodle .mbz course backups or LearnDash courses, and upload SCORM, xAPI and cmi5 packages as lessons. At-risk learner insights then help you spot who is falling behind in longer programs.

Workflow

From signed contract to client report

Set up the client

Create the organization, set seats and branding, and invite the client’s training contact as its manager.

Enroll their people

The client’s manager imports or adds staff, or you do it for them. Assigned courses enroll every member, with a due date if the contract has one.

Deliver the program

Online modules, live sessions through Zoom or Google Meet, and classroom days recorded with QR attendance.

Assess and certify

Proctored exams where the credential matters, a course-end evaluation form, and certificates issued automatically on a pass.

Report back

Export the organization report for the client review, and let expiring certificates bring learners back for renewal.

Use cases

How providers put it to work

Corporate compliance contracts

Health and safety, safeguarding or data protection programs delivered to many employer clients, each seeing only their own staff.

Public courses sold online

Open courses and learning paths listed in your WooCommerce store, with buyers signed straight into the LMS after checkout.

Professional certification exams

A proctored exam sold as its own product and taken through the candidate portal, with a certificate employers can check.

Blended apprenticeship programs

Online modules between classroom days, QR attendance on each day and at-risk insights that flag who is falling behind before the final assessment.

FAQ

Training provider questions

Can we sell courses directly inside LMS Advisor?
No. There is no native checkout, by design. Courses, learning paths and exams sell through your WooCommerce store using our plugin, and buyers are signed into the LMS with token SSO after purchase.
Can we connect more than one WooCommerce store?
Yes. Each connected store has its own token and its own scope, so you choose which courses, paths and exams sync to which store.
Can each client have their own branding?
Each organization can have its own logo, colors, font and login page text. We do not offer white-label reselling of the platform, so this is about presenting your training to each client, not rebranding LMS Advisor for resale.
Can a client’s HR manager add their own staff?
Yes, through the organization manager portal. You decide which actions they have, and the seat limit stops them going past what the contract covers.
Can clients who run their own LMS use our courses?
Yes, through LTI 1.3. Their LMS launches your course as an external tool and grades pass back to their gradebook.
How do we handle exam appeals?
Start with the evidence trail for the attempt. Depending on your settings it holds the ID photo, webcam and screen snapshots, logged violations and any audio clips. Set retention so evidence is kept only as long as appeals can be raised.
Can we move our courses from Moodle or LearnDash?
Yes. Import Moodle .mbz backups and LearnDash courses, then check lesson order and quizzes before publishing.
