Sales enablement that certifies pitch readiness
Ramp paths for new hires, launch modules built from a product manager’s screen recording, and a certification step that shows managers who is ready to sell.
At a glance
- Ramp paths with a schedule
- Launch modules from a recording
- Video-answer pitch practice
- Readiness certification
- Slack and Teams posts
A sales enablement lead is always competing for time that reps would rather spend selling. New hires need to learn the product, the process and the pitch before they burn through good leads. Every quarter brings a launch, a pricing change or a new competitor, and the only proof that anyone absorbed it is a Slack thumbs-up on the announcement.
LMS Advisor keeps enablement short and checkable. Ramp plans become learning paths that release content on a schedule. Product managers record a launch walkthrough in the Recording Studio and you turn it into a module the same week. Quizzes, video-answer pitch practice and a certification exam tell managers exactly who is ready.
Why reps are never quite ready
Ramp plans live in a spreadsheet
Each new hire gets a tab with links to decks and recordings. Nobody knows if week three happened until the rep fumbles a discovery call.
Launch content never reaches the field
Product marketing ships a forty-slide deck. Reps skim the first five, and customers hear about the new tier from a competitor.
Managers cannot tell who is ready
Leads are routed to anyone with a quota, whether or not they can explain the new pricing model.
Reps ignore anything that feels like school
Hour-long modules and compulsory videos get muted in a background tab while the rep works their inbox.
Ramp, launch and certify in one place
Build ramp plans as learning paths, turn launch recordings into short checked modules, practice pitches as video answers, and gate readiness with a certification exam. Results post to the channels your sales managers already watch.
Ramp paths with a schedule
Order courses and exams into a path, then use drip days so week-two content opens on day eight, not all at once.
Launch modules from a recording
A product manager records screen and camera in the Recording Studio. AI drafts quiz questions from the launch notes, and you edit and publish.
Video-answer pitch practice
Reps record their answer to “walk me through the new tier” and a manager scores the recording.
Readiness certification
A pass-marked exam with a certificate that expires, so product certification lapses when the product changes.
Slack and Teams posts
Post quiz passes, fails, completions and certificates to a sales channel, for every course or just the launch course.
Points and leaderboard
Points, badges, streaks and levels, plus manual awards so a manager can reward the first rep to certify.
Building a ramp plan and a launch certification
Turning a ramp spreadsheet into a path
Start from the plan you already have. Most ramp plans break into company and market, product, sales process and tools, and pitch. Make each block a short course and bundle them into a learning path in that order. Inside each course, set drip days on lessons so content releases on a timeline counted from enrollment. Across courses, put them in order in a learning path and lock the pitch certification exam until the product course is complete. The path ends with a certification exam.
Keep lessons short. A five-minute interactive module with a flip-card competitor comparison and a scored knowledge check gets finished. A forty-minute recorded all-hands does not.
Launch content in days
For a launch, ask the product manager for a ten-minute screen and camera walkthrough in the Recording Studio. Upload it as interactive video, add chapters for each feature and a timestamped question after the pricing section. If a rep answers wrong, the video rewinds to the part they missed. Give the AI question generator the launch topic and paste the key points from the brief as notes for a first draft of quiz questions, then cut the ones that test trivia.
Hearing the pitch out loud
Multiple-choice questions show whether a rep knows the facts. Video-answer questions show whether they can say it out loud. Ask the rep to record a 90-second answer to a common objection. Recorded answers wait for a person to score them, which usually means the frontline manager spends ten minutes a week reviewing their team. For longer written work, such as a mock account plan, use an assignment with a rubric. AI-assisted grading can suggest a score against that rubric, and the reviewer approves or changes it.
Making readiness visible
Set the certification exam’s pass mark and attach a certificate with a validity period that matches your release cycle. When a rep passes, a Slack or Microsoft Teams message goes to the sales managers’ channel, and the certificate is issued with a public verification link. Webhooks and the REST API can push the same events into your CRM or data warehouse if you build the connector. At-risk prediction flags new hires who are falling behind their path before a manager notices in the pipeline review.
A product launch, week by week
Two weeks before launch
Collect the launch brief and pricing sheet. The product manager records a walkthrough in the Recording Studio.
One week before launch
Build the interactive video module and quiz, edit the AI-drafted questions, and add one video-answer objection question.
Launch day
Enroll every quota-carrying rep in the launch module. Slack or Teams posts go to the sales channel as reps pass.
First week after launch
Managers score video answers, reminder emails reach reps who have not started, and the leaderboard shows who certified first.
Next release
Certificates expire on your chosen cycle, reps get a reminder, and the updated module replaces the old one.
Sales teams that work this way
SaaS sales teams
Quarterly feature launches as short interactive video modules, with product certification that expires on each major release.
Medical and technical device sales
Product knowledge exams with a proctored final for reps who must prove they know the product before customer visits.
Inside sales and SDR teams
Fast ramp paths with drip scheduling, recorded discovery-call practice and a leaderboard for competitive teams.
Channel-assisted sales
The same launch modules shared with partner reps in their own organization, reported separately from your direct team.
What sales leaders notice
- New hires follow one ramp plan instead of a spreadsheet of links
- Launch knowledge checked before reps pitch it
- Sales managers see certification in their own channel
- Training short enough to finish between calls
- Product certification that lapses when the product changes
