We should be clear about one thing first: LMS Advisor does not keep a separate credit ledger or submit records to accrediting bodies. What it does is capture the evidence most accreditors ask for, in one place per member. Each course has a duration in hours, which the certificate designer can print through a placeholder. Completion rules decide what “finished” means: every lesson viewed, a quiz passed at your chosen mark, an assignment graded. Lessons can require a minimum time before the member moves on, and courses keep a daily log of time spent. When the member reaches 100 percent, a mandatory end-of-course evaluation can appear before the certificate does. Most education teams then export completions and certificates each cycle for their own credit tracking.
Certificates can carry an expiry, so a credential that must be renewed every two years shows as valid, expiring soon or expired on the public verification page. An automation rule emails members before their certificate lapses.
Getting more out of conference recordings
Upload each session recording as a video lesson, or turn it into interactive video with chapters and a question every ten minutes. Add a short quiz, set the duration, and the session becomes an on-demand CE course. For the live event itself, create an attendance session per breakout and put the QR code on the room’s first slide. Late arrivals can be marked late rather than absent, which matters when credit depends on attendance.
Selling courses and exams
LMS Advisor has no checkout of its own. Selling happens through the WooCommerce plugin: connect one or more stores, and courses, learning paths and exams sync as products. You can choose which store receives which course, and mark an exam as requiring a purchase. When an order completes, the member is enrolled and single sign-on takes them from the store to their course without a second password. Member pricing, discount codes, tax and any recurring memberships are handled by WooCommerce and its extensions, not by LMS Advisor. If a member’s access needs to end, it is suspended rather than deleted, so their progress and history return if they come back.
Signing members in
Your association management system stays the record of who is a member. If your member portal can act as a SAML 2.0 identity provider, members sign in through it. Otherwise, self-registration can collect custom fields such as member number or license number, and Google sign-in or passkeys cut down on forgotten passwords.

Record and upload
Load conference and webinar recordings into the Media Library, where they stream only to signed-in members.
Build the CE course
Add the video, a short quiz with a pass mark, the course duration in hours and a mandatory end-of-course evaluation.
Decide free or paid
Leave member-benefit courses in the self-enroll catalog, and sync paid ones to your WooCommerce store as products.
Certify on completion
The certificate issues automatically with the member’s name, hours, completion date and a verification link.
Export for your records
